Are AliExpress/Shopee carbon bikes decent for what they are?
Want to ask the community consensus about these full carbon “ghost bikes” from Chinese factories and sold on Ali/Shopee. Yes obviously they are rip offs of known brands that are unobtanium to most of us. The QC is sure not at par with the real thing, though some sellers show the factory facilities or even attach yt links showing how they test and make these bikes close to real or same as the real standards. Some of these factories are allegedly the same factories where the real bikes are made. (So they claim) So maybe they are somewhat good?
But for the sake of curiosity and “research”, and based on some handful of YouTube vids about these bikes being put to the test and performing fairly (sometimes surprisingly) decent, what are your takes on these bikes?
Do you have any experience with one? Would you consider getting one assuming they are almost the same as the real ones?
(Disclaimer not promoting fakes or rip offs just want to see if there are experience with these bikes)
