At first Paz Vizsla seems like your average antagonist. He's strong willed, bullish, and he's always getting in Din Djarin's way. But as his story evolves, you come to realize that he's actually a contagonist. He opposes the protagonist, but he has only the best intentions in mind and his ultimate goals mirror those of the protagonist. He's the Flash Thompson to Peter Parker, the Severus Snape to Harry Potter. Every time Din tries to do something, Paz is there to challenge him. Not because of some personal vendetta, but because Din represents a test of the traditions of the Children of the Watch and the Mandalorians as a whole and Paz stands proud as the champion of tradition. He defends the old ways, but his mind is open to enlightenment. And ultimately he honors his debts to Din and supports him in his time of need. He's the unsung hero of the Mandalorians.
