GoFundMe - England Ladies Coarse Fishing Team!

Hi everyone!

After our last post explaining who we are, we had a few people ask us if there were any ways in which they could help 🥹

Aside from our raffles and fundraising events that we currently conduct through our Facebook page, we also have a GoFundMe set up by one of our team members where anyone can donate as much as they want, and every single penny goes towards helping get ourselves to the World Championships - this year in sunny Spain! 🇪🇸

I've spoken to the mods and they are okay for me to post the link below to the fundraiser if anyone wants to donate. Please DO NOT feel you have to - it is only there for those that want to and can 🫶

If you can't donate but still want to support us, give our page a follow on Facebook (link on our profile) and that will go a long way in helping us 😁

When we get back from the Worlds in August, we will hopefully share some photos and videos so you can see what we've been getting up to 💃

Thank you all again for your support on our previous post - we will do our very best to bring home the gold 🥇

England Ladies Coarse Fishing Team

Hi all,

We are the England Ladies Coarse Fishing Team! We compete every year in the World Championships, striving to be the very best in the world and bring a gold medal back to England 💪

The team itself is actually the second best in the world since records began in 1994, with us securing 31 medals in that time - 13 of which have been gold!

Over the last couple of years, we have had two individual World Champions, as well as an individual bronze. On the team front, we've fell just short of a podium by one or two points - which are incredibly fine margins and can be mere grams away from reaching.

As a team, we are entirely self-funded. We have to rely on fundraising events put on by us, the team members and management, as well as the kindness of businesses and other anglers in donating items, money, or things to help the team overall.

We currently operate on Facebook where you'll see all the posts from last year's World Championships, as well as our fundraising efforts that we have on at the moment.

The point of this post isn't to beg anyone for donations or help - it really isn't. It's just to raise awareness of who we are, what we do, and what we currently have to offer.

Fancy following our journey? Our Facebook page is the bio/links section on our profile.

Thank you all for your time!
