Experience with ETFs in ASKs
Hi everyone, sorry that this post will be in English, but my Danish is not yet good enough to talk about finances.
I just graduated from a Danish university and found a job in Denmark, which means that I want to „tax optimise“ my investments. This is also why I opened an ASK with Saxo Bank. When investigating which securities I want to buy within this account I saw that the number of DKK denoted ETFs and (mutual) funds is rather limited, making the ETFs I have been investing in previously more appealing. As the ASK can only hold DKK (as far as I am aware), I can see that the best way to invest through the ASK is still buying ETFs traded on EUR/USD exchanges and just take the 0,25% FX fee from Saxo as it is still cheaper than any DKK denoted products.
My question now is if I am missing something or if there is a better way to handle it.
