I have been trying to realize one of my drawings for a few days now, and my experience with cyanotype is limited to just this short period.

I drew the image on pattern paper and colored it in with various colored pencils, because I was hoping for shadows and intermediate tones.

Even though the result isn't bad for a start, many of the shadings in the impression have been lost.

My question is, which pens would you recommend for achieving a finer and more detailed result?

Ich bin mir unsicher, ob ich die Kindel von der Mutterpflanze abtrennen sollte und wenn ja, wie?

Ich habe online geschaut und natürlich auch Antworten erhalten. Leider waren die Antworten alle nicht so gut, Bzw an fortgeschrittene Orchideenentkindler gerichtet.

Was würdet ihr tun?

My Vanda has produced three offsets, and I am thinking about separating them from the mother plant. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no experience, and the tips I’ve found so far are a bit too vague for me.

I wonder whether separation is necessary or if I should simply let the offshoots continue growing on the plant. What have your experiences with it been like so far?
