Zagreb tour guide holiday
Me and my friend are both 27 and we’re going to Zagreb from Friday night until Monday morning. At first we were planning to just stay in Zagreb the whole weekend, but after watching videos online it honestly looks a bit too calm for us.
We’re more into lively places with good atmosphere, nice streets to walk around at night, good food, cafés, people outside, maybe beach vibes, nice views etc. We don’t really care about museums or very cultural stuff all day long, we just want a fun weekend and enjoy the city.
Now we’re doubting if we should maybe do:
1 day in Zagreb
and then
2 days somewhere on the coast like Zadar or Split
The problem is we don’t know if Zagreb is actually way more fun in real life than it looks online. Sometimes cities surprise you when you’re actually there.

Would you recommend staying the whole weekend in Zagreb or splitting the trip with the coast?
And if Zagreb is worth it, what are the best areas/things to do for two guys in their 20s?
