Rebound hypothyroidism

So I was on meds for hyperthyroidism and they fixed the issue in 3 months but I noticed on my labs I’m pushed over slightly into hypothyroidism now. I was able to function like this for the last several months (ended my course in November) but all of a sudden I’m gaining weight despite being at a calorie deficit and extremely tired, like all the time extremely tired, needing 3+ shots of espresso a day to just function at the bare minimum, and I cannot remember anything, but I’m in college like I have to remember. My pcp says it’s too soon for another bmp and that I’ll “even out” but I’m really struggling. My next BMP would be November.

Has anyone else had an experience with this? Did you even out or did you need a medical intervention? I don’t know if I should advocate for myself here or listen to the NP and wait until November? My primary concern is the struggle in school.

I, (156druid) have been involved with my S/O (162wiz) for about three decades now. We had a conversation about converging lairs, then he and his hoard vanished. Only this mirror is left and the carving bares a striking resemblance to my missing lover. If you gaze deeply enough into the mirror you can see the faint outline of a lizard. Safeguard against a dragon gone wrong or is this an elaborate ploy? Tya
