How to decline customer requests?
I’ve had so many customers make some requests that my location doesn’t allow such as
- an extra well done filet
- extra breading on nuggets
- large cups of ice
Now usually I’ll tell them that we actually can’t do that but sometimes the customer will get an attitude. Yesterday a customer said that they come all the time for breakfast and scoffed when I said I couldn’t give them a large cup of ice. Genuinely how do I tell them I can’t do that without making them upset and potentially escalating the situation?
