(Optimizing avatars?)How to handle avi creators not replying to you?
Edit: obviously I don’t want to do this by myself, it quickly became overwhelming mostly as the YouTube videos I was watching moved at four times the pace I needed and assumed I knew things I don’t know, so I was constantly rewinding a video and replaying it which was far from ideal.
I purchased an avatar on VRChat, later purchased the same one from jinxxy to upload and customize, then I started a ticket on the creators discord and asked for a custom optimized version of the avi. I offered to pay but they didn’t give me an amount, just asked for what customization I wanted. But my avatar author started working on it but stopped responding after a few days even when I checked in and eventually the ticket disappeared from their discord entirely. I am not sure how to handle this. I don’t want to offend or get kicked from the discord for complaining that they stopped responding. I understand life happens. I offered to pay to help prioritize the work. Maybe I should hire someone else to optimize my avatar? Any suggestions on how to handle this or who to contact for optimizations that will actually respond and get something done on time?
