Hey all! Don’t know if this is the right spot for it, but I’m working on digitizing a cassette tape but running into a couple snags. primarily on the recording sounding worse than just listening to the tape straight through my player. So if anybody has any tips on what I can improve on to make the recording sound better it would be very appreciated!

For specs

Audio Interface: PreSonus 24c

Player: Sony CFD-S300 combinatio CD, Tape, radio.

using player -> 3.5mm to same stereo cable -> 3.5mm stereo to 1/4inch stereo -> Audio interface -> Computer
