Why are Leading run scorers always selected for captaincy then people who can Actually captain a team?

This has been a norm for so many years in Indian Cricket. We are not selecting captaincy based on who can actually lead, rather we put the leading run scorer up for captiancy and put them in pressure. I dont know why Dhoni gave captaincy to kolhi rather then Rohit, who actually is a better captain.

No hate to kholi, he is a wonderful batsman, and wonderful player and wonderful captian for test. But for white ball cricket, Rohit seems to be a better choice which he almost proved but he got captaincy very late.

For CSK same goes for Rutu. I cant see him as a captiancy material, but a wonderful batter we should back. I dont know, who would be a better leader for CSK but I will always say Dhoni failed to select a better captian for both IPL and international.

What you guys think about this.

We are awfully weak to short balls and Bowlers are exploring it. (Urvil most importantly)

If you have seen the matches, bowlers just bowl fast short balls and talking our wickets, from GT match to lag match, we are so bad on the short balls.

Most importantly urvil. His fastest 50 comes from 0 short balls, and he lost his wicket to short balls if I remember that match and yesterday match. Same for samson, Brewis, rutu, urvil etc. So is dube, but dube won't give his wicket to short balls. They did the same to veer too.

Are they even training for short balls?

By seeing this, kamboj just putting all this into short balls for marsh, and he is smashing it. Kamboj, just sticking to one thing and doing that again and again and again and expecting different outcomes each time. What happened to pace variations what happed to yocker, wide youcker?

Overton was able to do all these with his variations. Gurpreet should do that too rather than just sticking to raw pace and expecting different outcomes.

Hope our bowlers and batters learn and come back stronger.
