I think Shingen killed a family member, an extended relative.

We already know there was something that happened that caused him to go lethargic

We got the hint that he killed someone when he stopped himself from hitting Gun,
“I won’t make the same mistake”
Gapryoung has likely seen him harm his own subordinates in his rampage.

I’ve seen people already come to this conclusion months ago, but no one knew who exactly it could’ve been. But now we are starting to see Shingen’s family, his uncle and cousin, we will likely see more. We saw nothing of this uncle during the Gun flashback, perhaps he was killed by Shingen in TUI, or Shingen took out some of his own generals as well.

From what I see, Shingen does care for his family to a certain extent, as much as a violent Syndicate leader can.
When he learned of Shintaro’s revolt, it was the most shocked we’ve seen him. He immediately doubted Shintaro would betrayed him and was convinced it would be a misunderstanding, he looked livid at Shintaro’s murder of their father and referred to it as a cardinal sin. Looked somewhat unbothered by his nameless son’s deaths. And he stopped himself from hurting Gun in TUI.

This guy likely killed his family, and given how he is towards family it caused him to be lethargic. Unlike Shintaro he wouldn’t brush off killing family the same way.

This clan sucks bro

They are a bunch of rule obsessed maniacs

Shintaro killed his entire family for the sake of rules
His son, his father, his brother and nearly all his nephews
The surviving one whom he attempted to kill multiple times.

Then we get Shingen’s uncle who cuts off his son’s arm and calls him a disgrace to their name, because he came to his father to tell him he got beat up.

At least Shingen valued family, a terrible father he was but he would’ve still been bothered by the death of immediate family to some extent

Why did he even use this specific Unique Skill

I’d understand if Tom only had one, but he’s been shown to have multiple. What would Changsu have done if Jinyoung used Ultimate King?

Is pre path Jinyoung stronger than BASE Kitae ?

Think about it logically before answering. Path users are at a certain level without the use of their paths

OG Daniel would take damage against a King with 2 threshold like Changi, and would probably lose to Jaegyon without his path

James without his path is still capable of overwhelming a bloodlusted Tom Lee

Kitae without his path can beat Overcome Jinrang

We don’t know where Johan stands

But Pre path Jinyoung traded hits with base Kitae and only used his right hand once the whole fight. Kitae had used his path after he got put down

Sinu really couldn’t do nothing here

I remember someone saying that this reflects bad on Sinu, because who ever is first to damage Kitae makes him look worse, but honestly ? Thst isnt the case anymore, only the heavy hitters can damage this man

Wasted potential in my opinion

Jay is Daniel’s wallet, and Ui Daniel’s favorite punching bag. He is Sophia’s disciple, he should be more than just that.

Jihan was forgotten, he should be the one you think of when a character says “You need someone like Kwak Jichang” yet he is a Jay victim

Jinrang got introduced, was hyped as hell and immediately got nerfed, if PTJ wanted to make Kitae look threatening he could’ve left it at killing Sang Baek and the other metal guys, and left it at that. Then Jinrang has an actual motivation to fight Kitae. Dude threatened James just to not get the chance to go at him, I’d have wanted to see that fight.

Jinyoung came back in the story after 2 years and died. At least give him a conversation with Daniel, or a reunion with his sister who thought was he was dead. It would’ve been better if he told Daniel or Jake the entire Gen 0 story instead of it being a flashback before he dies. Tom spent years looking for this man, just for him to have psychosis when he finds him and never have a proper conversation before he dies.

No one knows this guy has a path lol

The fact that Daniel has a path is already known, Changsu and Jinrang already knew. But no one saw Johan unlock his against Gun, who is currently in Jail. And it seems like Daniel cant notice the “Vibe” around other path users, unlike James, Sophia and Johan.

I was just rereading the fights, and it got me wondering. Is path Daniel actually stronger than Pre path Jinyoung?

Daniel was on the back foot most of the fight and had to take some really heavy hits. He landed a solid hit,and after that he could hardly damage Kitae

His eyes were bleeding from how much he was straining himself

But he eventually got taken down

Then Jinyoung started fighting, Kitae took off his shirt immediately and he ended sustaining more injuries and blood over his body.

If we compare performances, It looked like Jinyoung’s did “”Better” against Kitae than Daniel did, especially if Kitae used his path ]\ soon as he got put down temporarily.

Plus, if Kitae running a gauntlet

It’d make sense for the fighter after the last to be stronger or at least equal.

Honestly it’s a shame Unc and Neph where both nerfed when Kitae showed up
