Victoria Park vs Parkland for a young family
My partner and I are in our low 30s with a toddler living out in Parkland. We like it well enough but feels pretty isolated at times and we’ve had a hard time meeting people. Maybe it's our specific neighborhood but generally don’t see many people our age over here which I found surprising, seems to skew older (both parents and kids)
Been debating lately whether somewhere like Victoria Park would be a better fit. More walkability, stuff to do nearby, and hopefully more people our age (with or without kids). Feels like the kind of place where it’d be easier to actually build a social life.
For anyone who's made a similar move either direction, did being closer to the city actually help you meet people and feel more connected or did you end up missing the suburbs more than you thought you would? Along the same lines, is Victoria Park actually family friendly?
Would love to hear from people who’ve been in a similar spot
