Jinhao Pen 58

Has anyone here used the Jinhao 58 fountain pen? I'm considering buying one and would love to hear your experience. How is the writing performance, nib quality, smoothness, reliability, and overall value for money? Would you recommend it, or are there better alternatives in a similar price range?

Hair loss ( First round)

Hi everyone, I’ve just completed my first round of chemo. I’ve started noticing quite a bit of hair loss whenever I touch or wash my hair, and it’s been quite emotional.

I’m wondering how everyone managed washing their hair during this stage. Do you still wash it as usual, or do you wash it less often? Did you use a particular shampoo, brush, or technique to reduce shedding? Any tips or advice on what helped you would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much in advance for sharing your experiences. ❤️

How do your cope with the side effects?

Hi everyone, I’m currently undergoing chemotherapy and have developed a low-level ringing/buzzing sound in my right ear (tinnitus). My doctor explained that it’s likely a side effect of my medication (cisplatin). What strategies or "tricks" help you tune it out during the day? What kind of background noise or sound machines do you use at night to help you sleep?Did it start to get better or go away after you finished your treatments?

To the strong ladies out there

How do you cope with hair loss? I'm planning to shave my head soon before treatment starts. I get a bit emotional whenever I think about it. I'm so afraid I'll break down when the hairdresser shaves it off. What reason would you give if your hairdresser asks why you're shaving your head? It feels a bit personal to share that with the hairdresser.

Suzzipad gloves and boots

Hi guys, may I check with those who have used Suzzipad gloves and boots: do you wear extra socks or gloves before putting on the Suzzipad ones? How long does it last for you? Around 2 hours at least before changing?

Also, how has it worked for you guys? Thank you for sharing.

Preserve fertility

Hi guys, I have tons of questions to ask and I’m very thankful this community exists 🥺

Just wanna ask if anyone here has gone through putting your remaining ovary “to sleep” before starting chemo to preserve fertility (GnRH agonists)?

Would love to hear from anyone who has been through the same situation.

3 cycles of chemo (Bep regimen)- 9 weeks to endure

I’ll be starting my 3 cycles of chemo (Bep regimen) soon and wanted to ask if you guys have any advice or tips to help reduce the side effects.

What do people usually do during the treatment? Do your usually sleep, watch shows, or snack while on the drip?

What snacks or drinks helped during chemo? Did anything help with nausea or fatigue?

What should I bring to each session, and were there any side effects that caught you by surprise?

How long did it usually take to recover after each cycle? Any tips for sleeping better after treatment?

Did things like hydration, cold caps, or ice gloves help?
