old ig account from when i was under 13 + hacked+ has my real name - advice on getting it removed?
hayy! I’m trying to get an old Instagram account deleted and I’m not having luck with support.
I made the account when I was under 13, so it shouldn’t have existed in the first place. I no longer have access to the email or password.
At some point, someone else (also a minor at the time) got into the account and posted things I don’t approve of. This situation is really upsetting for me because he was really horrible to me and this is just kind of traumatizing and I don’t want that content tied to me anymore.
The account uses my full first and last name, so when people search me, it comes up. That’s the biggest issue — it’s directly affecting me now. Not even because of the embarrassing pictures but because i was so young and people think this man is still tied to me.
I’ve already:
• Tried reporting the account as underage
• Tried reporting it as impersonation
I haven’t gotten anywhere yet :|
Does anyone work for instagram i can actually talk to rather than the robotic customer service that doesnt ever work? Has anyone successfully gotten an account like this removed? Is there a specific form or wording that worked for you?
