Projecting on a 45° slanted ceiling with an Epson EB-W39: Any advice or feedback?
Hi everyone,
I just picked up a used Epson EB-W39 primarily to watch movies and shows in my bedroom using a Chromecast.
My room layout is a bit unique: I plan to project directly onto a slanted ceiling / attic wall angled at about 45°.
My planned setup:
Placement: Placed sideways on a narrow window sill (or on a small stool next to the bed) and angled upward toward the slope.
Before finalizing the installation, I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience projecting onto a sloped surface:
Does Quick Corner hold up well without noticeably degrading resolution or sharpness at a 45° angle?
Is the focus uniform across the slanted surface, or does the varying throw distance cause blur between the top and bottom edges?
Are there any heat or ventilation concerns when tilting a lamp-based projector upward like this?
Thanks in advance for any tips and feedback!
