Not about me but my fiance. I convinced him to try donating whole blood since the first time he tried as a teenager he passed out during the hemoglobin poke. He does have a history of convulsive syncope in other situations and he did pass out again right at the tail end of donating this time so it'll probably be the last attempt.

Will they still use his blood? He donated at a Red Cross location and I think knowing they'll still use his blood might make him feel better while he's recovering in the ER.
