Hello friends! I hate that my first post here has to be a negative one, but I really need help with something. I recently purchased my first high-value Webkinz, the Cheeky Cat. She is new with sealed tag and I absolutely adore her. When I received her, I went to check the validity of her code (flashlight method), since I paid hundreds for her and need to ensure she has an unused code as advertised. Although I do play Webkinz, she was the only pet I was not planning on actually adopting because of her high value as a collector’s item. However, as you may have guessed by now, she fell victim to the “default” glitch/change and when I carefully exited to my house after typing the code and seeing the pet pop up, she was adopted with the name “default”.😭😭😭.
This happened on August 10th. I have since heard that this is a known problem and you can no longer test pet codes. I emailed Webkinz customer service, and, after taking 9 days to respond, they sent me a generic email (pictured) basically saying that it’s my fault for interrupting the adoption process and once the “next step” button is selected the adoption is completed. This does not make sense to me, as I have backed out like this many times before with no issues, and I did not actually select “adopt,” so how is it complete?! I also did not put in the pet name, select a gender, or get the adoption ceremony with Mrs. Birdy.
My code being used up, plus all the waiting and then the unhelpful response has been very upsetting and distressing for me.:(( I really need this undone, so that the exact code on my tag can be unused, otherwise my pet greatly decreases in value. If anyone knows if there is anything I can do, or has had a similar problem that has been fixed, please let me know.

Just recently made a new account and as a kid this was my favorite part. 😭 I got the Yum Zum crystal literally yesterday so I didn’t think I’d have any chance of getting it again today. Not once have I ever gotten the gem of the day and it made me so happy omg. This was better than my morning coffee I stg.
I didn't know I was going to get CHOICES lol I'm assuming the gold key goes towards the key collection to the gold door, the hat is a clothing item, but what about the balloons and crystal? are they decorations? Which one would y'all pick if it were you? I'm assuming the gold key is the most practical but idk what the percentage is of actually getting a gold key (I currently only have 2/10 and have been playing since like 2007) but the balloons and crystal look really cute too ugh this is so hard lol

Which gem do you think is the prettiest in all of Webkinz World? Personally, I love the pearl egg. I'd love to wear it as a pendant or a ring or even a brooch!
I am at home studying all day today, so aside from any quick glitches that may occur and cause me to have to restart my app or log out and back in, my American Golden (or British Golden I have joked with the lore I have given him) Glenn will be sitting in Park 57 today for anyone who needs a mostly empty park or if any unfair players jump in 47 and make it hard despite the trash generator gang there.
(One pet sitting will still be pretty low on trash numbers, but it will help generate more than just one person in there alone.)
ETA Also for those running behind or were late to start the challenge, there is an Extra WoW spin this evening on Today's Activities. It is not available to free members unfortunately, but full members and deluxe members should be able to use it. Might help catch up on that part, too!

I know it’s been said but I wish we could change our pets’ names, especially now that so many people have one names default I think it should be an option.
I have one I really regret. My tiger snake is named Eden. I named her that because I was thinking of a beautiful garden and she’s my cottagecore queen (Nara Smith vibes). I didn’t consider that she’s a snake and now I realize it can be considered religious commentary because of those implications. I emailed Webkinz with my concerns, but they said it’s not considered inappropriate and won’t be changed.
I have OCD so ever since I realized this it’s been a struggle and a worry for me to play with her in “public” online. I’m trying to get over it because I want her to be my cooking competition pet.
