Service industry on LI: where do you actually drink on your night off?
Genuinely asking. Every spot I try ends up being either the same bar I work, or full of people who also work in the industry and we just end up shop talking. Trying to find places that aren't shop talk central but also aren't doing $19 cocktails. Bonus if it stays open late since it's hard to even get there before midnight most nights. Anyone got reliable spots they actually go to off-shift?
