Failed but was so close😭

Failed my test today with 1 serious fault and 4 minors. I had to do a reverse bay park on the left up a hill and at an angle so the bay was shaped like / / not | | if that makes sense.

My instructor basically changed cars 2 days ago and wouldn’t take me due to the change. So I had to do this my 20 year old little c1 that I’ve not had much practice. I worked so so hard for this and started crying in the car when he said I failed. He was really nice tbh but I’m still upset. But, my previous test in January was a fail with 1 dangerous, 4 serious and 9 minors, so i did better this time even under difficult circumstances. So annoyed that I have to wait till October though because the cancellation apps don’t work 😭

Test on Thursday - any advice/support appreciated!

Hey everyone, I have my test on Thursday. This is my second test, I took my first one in January and failed terribly with 4 fails and 9 minors. In hindsight I wasn’t ready at all but I’ve been working super hard to pass. I have since nailed all my manoeuvres, I’m great at roundabouts and ensuring my gears are correct. These were the key issues in my previous test.

I have had great lessons with no fails consistently and last lesson on Wednesday the first hour was fantastic. The second hour though… I literally made one fail mistake, became very embarrassed and I got all in my head about it and subsequently made NINE fails in 45 minutes. I wanted to cry so so badly. My instructor said I can’t take the test if I make a single fail in my lessons on Monday and Wednesday. This has put so much pressure on me and I really need help on how to manage nerves and prevents spiralling after I make one mistake. I just don’t get how I let it get so out of control! I am desperate to pass. I own a car now and I cannot afford to keep paying lessons so if I fail frankly idk what I’m going to do. I appreciate this is a long rambling message, but a pep talk and advice for how to get this under control would be much appreciated right now :(

Standing v Seating

Hey everyone, I’m gonna buy resale tickets for the Manchester show in September. It’s £205 for standing or £68 for seated with a decent view, is standing with the extra splurge it’s a lot, but I’m willing to pay if it really improves the experience!
