Hermes Cypress Sandal

I wanted to share my experience with Tina regarding the Cypress sandals I ordered from her God2Shoes album. I originally purchased them thinking they were from God Factory, but later found out they were actually from JD Factory.

I’m very particular when it comes to quality because I really dislike cheap looking materials or fake feeling leather. Before ordering, I specifically asked Tina if the sandals were truly the best 1:1 quality and identical to the authentic store version, and she assured me they were.

For reference, I normally wear a women’s EU size 41, and I even went to my local Hermes store beforehand to try on the authentic Cypress sandals. The authentic size 41 fit me perfectly without any issues. Since I’ve had past experiences with Chinese sizing running small, I also mentioned this concern before purchasing.

When the sandals arrived two days ago, I was honestly very disappointed with the sizing. Although the overall quality and appearance looked excellent to me, the fit was completely off. My feet stick out around 1.5 inches from the back, and the sandals feel closer to a EU size 40 rather than a true 41.

In my opinion, the quality itself is good, but the sizing accuracy is very poor and noticeably different from the authentic version in store. Because of this experience, I’m now extremely worried about the two Oran sandals I also ordered, especially since the authentic Orans fit me perfectly at Hermes.

Overall, Tina was responsive and the sandals do look nice visually, but I think buyers should be cautious and double check sizing expectations depending on the factory.
