I have a foldable Android phone that I no longer use. I now use an iPhone which it is my understanding is horrible for wired listening. I did buy the Questyle dongle for my phone but did not hear a difference listening to Apple Music. I have not gone down the road yet of downloading my own music. Is there a difference in using that phone vs an android based DAP? Doesn’t DAPs have some kind of amplifier that is supposed to help with sound quality? I assume a phone would not have that. Please be patient with my questions, I am trying to learn about DAP’s.
