Best western Aku Tiki Mitch was the owner of the hotel and her real name was Eleanor Di Sensi. Mitch (or midge) was originally from Quebec Canada and she spoke Canadian French as you can hear on one of the calls. Her and her husband Carlo owned the Aku tiki hotel and Carlo died in 2012. Shortly after Carlo died the soundboard Bert called Mitch and made her cry by asking for her husband. The Bert asking for the husband clips were from earlier calls where the Mitch soundboard called Bert and he thought she was drunk so he was asking for her husband and telling her to go to bed. It was after that and between Carlos death that the call to Karen the boss was made resulting in Bert’s firing. There is a photo of Bert (Robert Wallace) from 2009 when he was employed at the Aku tiki complete with his work shirt. There are also 3 Karen’s on Mitch’s Facebook but I haven’t been able to see a definitive match.

(And as the cherry on top I apparently share a birthday with Bert on April 19)

So far I found the resting places of Frank, Stilwell Grandma, Best western Mitch and Fred.

The brown strip on the floor is for wheelchair guests in case they have an accident on the floor and Ms Bridges can’t get to it before the stain sets in.
