Hi,

Looking at these two options. Thrown a bit by the fin grip on the SW but going into Turners tomorrow to check it out. Any thoughts? Pretty much narrowed down to the Ruger PCC and SW Response. I have a MP 2.0 and love it. Also have a 10/22 and love it but would like advice if anyone has one of these carbines currently. Pretty new to firearms, just used a guys 9mm carbine at the range and it was fun. Best

Hi - a guy at the range let me try his 9mm carbine. I forget what it was but it took Glock mags. It was pretty awesome and I’m interested in maybe switching out my deposit on mossberg 500 field/security for this. Shotgun took a long time to get delivered to store and in that time got kinda interested in other firearms. Really really actually want the bergara 6.5 creedmore but will save for that. Loving my Kidd ruger build so far - but that 9mm was cool. Got an mp 2.0 already and love it so sw 9mm carbine seems cool too. - open to 5.56 just not very familiar with this stuff. thx

Hello - I got my Ruger 10/22 about a month ago. Really loving it and interested in precision shooting like nrl22 or nrl precision with center fires. A gentleman at the range let me try his bergara 6.5 creedmore and oh man what a feeling. However the price of ammo scares me coming from .22. Is .223 a good choice of caliber for my next rifle? I’m looking at bergara, tikka, ruger American gen II. Not sure I’m 1000 yards kinda guy yet / but for sure interested in 200-600 - middle ground kinda deal. Interested in centerfire nrl - definitely going to start in nrl22 for now and see what’s what but just want to save for a higher caliber within the year. Thanks

Hi - new to all this, but getting sucked in. Got a Ruger 10/22 a month ago, wondering if I should stop or keep going? I know only I know what I want but just tell me plz.

List of upgrades already done Kidd+stock:

-trigger job

-auto bolt release

-magazine latch plunger

-hammer strut assembly

-magpul hunter x22 stock

I want to try NRL22, I did not know what it was until after I purchased the Ruger but I hear people can just learn and still go to matches with it. I want to maybe upgrade the barrel to 18” bull barrel from Kidd as well as bolt buffer, magazine lever, charging handle assembly.

I know this is turning out to be expensive but I kinda really enjoyed installing the trigger and the idea of having a nicer .22 firearm I worked on is cool. Do I get the whole Kidd upgrade and do the bolt too? Or can I pass on the bolt?

Or if you have two cents about whether I should just hold off on another $600 in those upgrades and save for Bergara or CZ?

Thx
