Hi everyone! I’m looking to be referred by my GP to get a breast reduction done through the HSE. I have a couple of questions if anyone would be kind enough to answer! For reference I’m 5’7, 70kg, and had big boobs all my life but at the moment I’m a 32GG

- Has anyone gone down this route? How long did it take from being referred to actually getting your surgery? I’m finding it hard to find timelines online.
- Which surgeon would you recommend / wouldn’t recommend?
- Also just want to get an overall feel of how the public system is! I work as a secretary in Temple Street and I know public care can be different to private so worst comes to worst I don’t mind paying for the surgery / getting a loan out.

Any other information would be so so appreciated!
