PLEASE HELP I FELL VICTIM OF A SKIMS SCAM

I think I may have fallen for a fake influencer/brand partnership scam and I’m honestly freaking out.

Please don’t judge me. I’m a content creator and was contacted about what appeared to be a legitimate collaboration/onboarding process. They created a portal for me, sent package tracking links, and everything initially looked professional enough that I believed it.

Here’s where things started getting weird:
- They asked me to send $40 upfront to “start”
- They requested verification documents
- I sent a utility bill and my driver’s license
- The portal they created for me suddenly stopped working
- The package tracking website stopped working too
- When I tried emailing them again, the email bounced back saying the domain could not be found

That’s when I realized something was seriously wrong.

I have already:
- stopped all communication
- enabled 2FA
- gathered screenshots/evidence

But I’m terrified because they now have:
- my name
- address
- driver’s license

I did NOT give:
- SSN
- bank login
- passport
- debit card PIN
- verification codes

Has anyone gone through something similar? What else should I do immediately to protect myself from identity theft? Is freezing my credit enough for now?

Please be kind. I already feel extremely embarrassed and sick over this. I am a content creator and the website at the time looked extremely legitimate. The email address as well. It wasn’t gmail it was a skims partner email.

I’ve seen numerous posts of women wondering how soon after C-section can you begin to take a dose of Reta, but it seems so unconventional that you don’t know what’s the right or wrong answer and even a doctor can tell you to wait so long, but I’d like to hear stories of someone who has started maybe two weeks after postpartum (c-section) ((please I’m not looking to hear any negative comments about how this should be the last thing on my mind)) I will NOT be breastfeeding **
