In reference to the latest tension between Kuki and Naga (Tangkhul), I came across some opinions sharing how Saikul A/C could influence the upcoming election. I am not that familar with the in-depth politics of the state, but my limited understanding is that the division (in representation) between the north (Kuki) and south (Zomi), has now become into a convoluted division in the north itself (thadou-kuki)? Anyone here can shed a light on how this turn out to be? Has infightings between such groups a common thing in Manipur? And if yes, what makes it different this time?
