Hey so 24 M I got 2 wisdom teeth on my right side out a few years ago and had no problems at all I was fine the same day and now I got the 2 out on my left side and I am still in tremendous pain on day 10 of recovery, I’ve been alternating between ibuprofen and Tylenol but can’t keep living like this. I can barley only my mouth I could do 1-2 fingers every since like day 3 of recovery when I ran out of the narcotics. There is no clicking or popping. The pain is sometimes worse then others I can feel it across my top teeth and bottom teeth sometimes and it’s throbbing pain today. Jaw is suppper tight and hasn’t really gotten any looser this whole week. I went to urgent care today and they said they don’t think it’s infected but to contact dentist because she thinks it’s Tmj. I’ve read about tmj but everyone says there’s get better in time, mine seems to be the same but today even worse maybe cuz I was overdoing trying to open but it is a sharp throbbing pain 24/7 in muscle next to ear and top row of teeth all morning today. And ear feels like clogged or something if that helps. Have been doing Salt water, Ibueprofen and Tylenol, heat compresses, everything and not really seeing improvements they maybe provide temp relief but that’s it and feel like I’m over doing Tylenol ibuprofen now. Again it feels like it’s getting tighter sometimes not better
