AITJ for Trying to Sound Cool?
So, one day, I'm on the job, and I see a beautiful woman. I see her breaking the law, and I decide to tell her off. I know, not the best idea for impressing beautiful women. Luckily, she doesn't hear me. I see her again and try to talk to her, but we get into trouble with the law because she's a criminal. She talks to me about some religious beliefs or something, and believes I might be, like, her Messiah or something. I try to correct her, but because of the trouble with the cops, I can't. She finds out I'm not who she thought I was, and SHE . . . GETS MAD AT ME! Anyway, she takes me to meet her dad or something like that, and then, I realize she has a boyfriend! This whole time, she was talking about following me to the ends of the earth and how I was perfect! But that might've just been my imagination. I dunno. PLUS, her boyfriend is bad for her! He calls her clingy for not wanting him to leave her in a time of need, and he has a DISGUSTING personality! The girl and I grow closer over time, and we accidentally hold hands in front of her boyfriend. He decides to break up with her for her own good. He goes on to adopt a child, get another girlfriend, and then abandon them, too, and marry someone else. Unbelievable!
