Also, is it considered part of Ole Miss, or is it a separate institution?

As an incoming international student to Mississippi, I wanted to ask about the average cost of owning a used car in Mississippi, including insurance, gas, maintenance, and any other expenses.

Also, compared to renting home near the university (UMMC), would owning a car still be the better option?

Hi everyone,

I currently have an I-20 from one university, but I’m still waiting for a decision from another university, which I prefer and expect to hear from within ~2-3 weeks.

My question:
Is it okay to go ahead and pay the visa fee and check interview availability using my current I-20, then later switch to the new university if I receive another I-20?

Also, has anyone done this before and updated their DS-160 after booking?

I’m trying to avoid delaying my visa appointment but also don’t want to create complications.
