Lab recommended redraw based on due date change, high risk T21

First draw was supposed to be at 8w3d but my due date changed so it was technically 7w3d. They still got an 8% FF but came back high risk for T21 with 9:10 chance; however, the genetic counselor changed it to 70% chance based off my age (29). The lab requested a redraw since it was before their recommended time, so yesterday I had another draw at 11w4d. They don't anticipate a change but I'm wondering if there are any stories out there where an early test comes back positive and a 2nd test comes back normal. I didn't see any signs of a twin at my first ultrasound at 7 weeks.

I also heard T21 have higher HCG levels but I have had a really easy 1st trimester. Granted it's my 1st pregnancy so I have nothing to compare it to, but I only had 1 day of nausea waves without puking at 6 weeks on the dot. Otherwise, I've just been feeling tired. I find this odd though as I heard higher HCG levels produce more nausea as well as girls (which we are having!). We also got another ultrasound yesterday and she was super active with four moving limbs and a strong heartbeat of 169.

We will not be TFMR and feel capable of loving this child however she comes into this world and are just praying for a healthy rest of pregnancy.

First pregnancy, high risk T21

(29F) healthy adult, work out often, minimal alcohol, first pregnancy and was given a 9/10 chance on trisomy 21 today. I’m still processing the news and am hoping for a miracle that we’re the lucky 10%. We did NIPT through Unity and they drew at 9w3d which seemed early to me.

Any stories of false positives?? I have 11 healthy nieces and nephews on my side so this is all new to us.

29F, 5’7” - My normal adult weight was always around 142 and with Reta I was maintaining 128 lbs. Well I went off it right away after getting pregnant, I’ve been hungry often, and I’m 10 weeks and already gained 9 lbs. Since I was likely underweight for my body’s ideal weight, do you think my body bounced quickly back up to accommodate the pregnancy? First pregnancy, no morning sickness or food aversions. I’m also strength training 5x/week. I’m trying not to be too concerned since I’m prioritizing muscle gain and can go back on Reta after the pregnancy
