Any fics featuring Tobias Snape?

I am currently reading a story with really interesting and complex portrayal of Tobias Snape - and in general, the characters there are well written and multidimensional, the story is No Bed of Roses by LadyLuciusAsh87 if you want to check it.

Anyway, I realised that I had never before seen a story actually featuring Snape's father, let alone giving him any depth. At best, he's mentioned or appears in retrospections. I get it, he is not only muggle, but also abusive drunkard and barely mentioned in books. But now I am curious.

Do you know any interesting stories where Tobias Snape plays an active role? And ideally - where he actually has some character and depth? I don't necessarily want him to be nice and good but I want him to be complex and important for the plot

Brownish and white discoloration on my hand, ending at the line of my bracelet

Few days ago I (F31) obserwed a discoloration on my right hand. It looks like small brown spots on my skin (or as pale/white spots on tanned skin, I'm not sure, but I think the spots are darker than the rest). The spots end exactly on the line where I always wear my bracelet and don't seem to move any further.

They're nit as pronounced as on this photo - I wasn't able to get better lighting

During early spring I observed white & reddish spots in the exact same area (white spots on reddish skin - my hands always get red and dry when it's cold even with gloves and creams). I don't know if these two instances are connected

They're painless, they don't have any texture (they're exactly like the rest of my skin in touh) and don't cause me any issues except of visual ones. They don't seem to grow or spread but it has only been few days so maybe it's too early to tell.

As far as I know I don't have any similar discolorations anywhere else.

I hadn't observed any significant change in my health recently. I am definitely not pregnant nor breastfeeding. I don't take any long term meds except of eyedrops for glaucoma.

About a week ago I was doing deep cleaning of my flat with some standard cleaning chemicals, without gloves (chemicals weren't condensed and were diluted with water, I thoroughly cleaned my hands). I thought maybe it was some sort of allergic reaction (it would explain why the spots end exactly at the line of my bracelet - maybe it stopped whatever allergen/irritant it was?)

Should I go to dermatologist or is there any chance that it will go away?

Basically what the title says. Sometimes, when I read stories I actually enjoy, I see comments like "XYZ would never do it/behave this way" or "this subplot doesn't make sense because in the books..."

So, which tropes in fanfiction do you like and enjoy even if you know that they're not compatible with canon or they make character(s) act OOC?

I, for example, like when Sirius embraces his Black heritage and/or dabbles a bit in darker magic. I know that book Sirius hated everything connected to his family but I enjoy stories with this trope nonetheless.

I also like when other characters decide to cooperate with Rita Skeeter in mutually beneficial way and use the power of press for their purposes.

And what are your favourite non-canon-conpliant tropes?

Can you recommend me some stories with rare pairings (I'd prefer F/F but I'll also take F/M as long as it's well-written) with interesting and well developed plot?

My only requirement is that the romance subplot doesn't overshadow the main story (I _hate_ it when a story has great worldbuilding and actually interesting plot but changes into a cliché romantic drama full of unnecessary pining after the first few chapters).

I like stories centred around Ministry of Magic and/or set in professional setting (healers, aurors, unspeakables, spell creators and so on), I'm less interested in stories about students but I also read these if they're good.

It would be ideal if the story was between 50-150k words (not too short, not too long) and on AO3, but these are not requirements
