Paperwork??

I’m looking for Cavapoos right now and I love this one. She’s so cute but they don’t have OFA on the dad who is the caviler. Should I skip this dog? I worry about the heart she is saying they get check ups but I’m not sure that’s good enough what do yall think? They did genetic health testing I seen those.

Is this a bad time to get a dog?

I had to put down my 16 year old Yorkie about 3 months ago and I am looking at other dogs such as a cavapoo. I start accelerated nursing school in March and also work full time though I will cut my hours to about 30 once I start. That gives me around 7 months to train and establish a routine with them. I just want advice from other students on if it’s doable. I can’t imagine going the next 2 years without a little companion but I also can’t be selfish if it’s not right for the dog. My mom and I live together and she’s retired so she will be home with them all day and help out.

Should I get one?

So I had a Yorkie for 16 years that I had to put down 3 months ago. I have an itch for anther dog. I like cavapoos, I have a friend who has one I and love her temperament. My dilemma is I’m goin back to school for nursing in March and need to work as well during that time. Nursing school is accelerated so it will be busy. My mother and I live together and she is retired so she will be home everyday to help take of a new dog. I just don’t know if I should wait but I also can’t imagine going 2 years of my life without a companion. I also don’t want to be selfish. Any advice? Is 7 months enough time to establish a routine with these guys and train them pretty good?
