TWINS!

I just had my 7 week ultrasound and I found out I’m pregnant with TWINS!!! They’re both measuring 7 weeks and have good heart rates (140 and 137). We only transferred one day 5 embryo. My first FET failed, second resulted in a MMC at 9 weeks earlier this year, so this really feels like such a blessing after dealing with DOR, worries we may never get to have kids, and everything else that comes along with IVF. Obviously very nervous about the pregnancy complications as well. There’s only 1 gestational sac, we’ll find out in 2 weeks if they have their own amniotic sac 🤞🏼

Any stories, or advice about IVF twins?

Does anyone have the Scott Living Elevate couch from The Brick?

I’m interested in this couch as it’ll fit in my condo, and all the seats slide out in to a chaise! But I can’t find many reviews, and it’s not on the floor to test out unless I order it. Did anyone have it?? Is it as good as it looks??

Does anyone have info on the blue and red houseboat that’s leaned back? I saw it lean way back a couple summers ago and it was fixed within a day or two. This fall it started sinking backwards again but it wasn’t fixed, and is still leaning back in the frozen lake. Im just nosey and curious hahaha

This bloat is killing me 😭I’m 5 weeks, and I must’ve gone up like 3 jean sizes since my transfer. I live in a cold climate so thankfully I’m just rocking sweat pants but wow, I don’t remember this much bloat from my other transfers. I feel like I’m 5 months, not 5 weeks hahaha

Back story: my husband and I decided not to tell our families that we were doing an embryo transfer. We wanted to take back some normalcy and be able to celebrate in our own little bubble, and surprise our family like most couples. The first transfer failed, second was successful and we had fun gifts to surprise everyone with and it was so special! I lost that pregnancy at 9 weeks.

Everyone knew we were doing this 3rd embryo transfer, and it worked (yay!). Since everyone knows I feel like we can’t really wait until I’m farther along to tell them that it was successful, but it feels .. less exciting this time? How did you announce your pregnancy to family that knew you were doing this?
