Hey everybody, I work ramp like you all and just got a year. Today however, I messed up and feel terrible and sorry. When guiding the jet bridge back, it hit the baggage cart parked for gate checks and the scene was frozen. Aircraft ops and the city were called who then took a picture of the scene , my badge and said six points would be deducted off my badge followed by a hearing. I’m incredibly anxious over it and I know I messed up. How does the hearing go? How can I ensure the best result for myself? Again, I feel stupid and I should have been more observant and I hope I can get some clarity from some veterans on here.
