We got some fantastic advice on where to look for housing. We found a few options. One checks off every box but it’s 45 mins away (this includes traffic). We found another good option that’s about 20 mins closer.

I’ve heard parking for university employees is really rough. Is it the same for VA employees? If so, maybe we’ll consider the closer option.

This sub has been really great so far. We really appreciate all the advice!

I’m currently working in Flint but just accepted a job in Ann Arbor. I’ve got two little ones and are currently looking into buying a house in the 500-700k range.

We’d like a little greenery, short commute, and decent schools. My wife loves Brighton, but I’m concerned about the traffic on 23, especially on my way home.

What’re some places you guys recommend? Thanks!
