No tip, no food
Disclaimer: This is NOT my post pictured, someone posted it randomly on Facebook in my Crafts group of all places?
Mainly just posting because I was blown away someone would feel comfortable enough to do this and then be baffled and incredulous they’re the one who got banned. As someone who’s both been a DoorDasher and a customer ordering(and I only order if I can afford a really good tip and absolutely cannot go myself) but I have never even on my worst orders contemplated just completely chucking someone’s order onto the road because I feel entitled to do so based on their house? Now look I don’t disagree with the sentiment itself, I have dashed in richer areas and I’ve dashed in trailer parks and typically yes, the nicer bigger gated community houses did tip worse. BUT, we have a decline button and while yes we are penalized for it which I heavily disagree with and definitely has hurt my rate before but the customer doesn’t create the app interface, the company does and if they gave us even a FRACTION of what they’re raking in and paid legal fair wages maybe we wouldn’t be so angry but it doesn’t make it ok to decide you’re now judge, jury, and executioner because they have a nice house or a nice car or whatever. Am I off my block here?
