So I got this package delivered from a door dash driver. Mind you in not a Karen but if there's a concern I will file a report. Now I'm not a smoker, I don't inhale anything in my lungs. This package reeks weed and if I open it and hang these curtains it's going to smell like weed and I really don't like that stuff and that is not professional! I try to get my apartment to smell very good but I don't want this weed smell I think it's just rude and unprofessional when my package comes smelling like weed. Mind you this is a strong smell if it was a lot lighter I can deal with it but this is a pretty strong smell

I ordered delivery from Pizza Hut, and they outsource their drivers to Doordash. This driver did nothing but whine, saying he did not want to go up to the 4th floor because he "didn't feel like it", then was mad I didn't pick up when he spam called me 3 times. (To be fair, I didn't have my phone on me and didn't expect it to be delivered so soon).

So his solution was to leave my UNSEALED pizza box on the stairs of my apartment building.

Why take a job if you don't want to do the bare minimum??

I wish I had ordered directly through DD, but I did contact Pizza Hut and mainly just want to revoke his tip, because why do you get a tip if you can't even do the job?

So i sent a message to my dasher using swipe text TRYING to say "will you ask for extra avocado lime sauce please?" And instead sent this. I was so embarrassed I made my fiance get the order from her 😩

I received this text message from my dasher asking me to cancel my order and telling me that the restaurant did not receive my order. He was at the correct location, and it showed him at the right place on the map. The app showed the order as "Picked up" with this photo of my food next to it (I'm assuming the restaurant workers uploaded this?) he told me there was no order at all with my name

I called support, and they confirmed with the restaurant that the order was ready for pick up. And support spoke with the dasher and he told support that they put the wrong food in the wrong bag, I guess because support could see the photo of my food with my correct order, but he told them that the wrong food was in the bag... which doesn't even make sense as dashers don't look inside the bag to confirm, and if the restaurant had told him that, they would've just corrected it.

It's clear he was lying, right? I just don't understand the purpose... why drive to the restaurant, mark it as "picked up" and then lie to me and tell me it's not there and ask me to cancel? What was the point of that?

I ended up canceling it & requesting a refund, and I reported him, not sure if support is going to do anything about it.. just strange

Edit: if I didn't cancel the order, I wouldn't have been able to re-order right away, they would have reassigned a dasher, and my food would have been cold by then. I didn't have much options.

Also I find it hard to believe he'd risk his job just to steal my McDouble...Lol. Weird!

(I got a full refund! And support cancelled the order for me)

I ordered a bag of cat food on Doordash, because I am sick and my cats are out of food. I received a bag of dog food that I can't give them, that I paid $52 for. At first they gave me a return code and asked me to return the bag of dog food to Petco for a refund. Finally Doordash is crediting me $35.

Instead of admitting they won't refund my delivery fee or modify my tip, the AI is trying to gaslight me that they didn't charge me $17 for nothing, because they refunded the item price. It even said "I understand why it feels that way."

Life isn't real 😭

Not sure why this keeps happening, it has happened 3 times now recently! When I order doordash from McDonalds, my driver picks up two orders and he gives me the other persons order. I instantly messaged the doordash driver after last time this happened to let him know he gave me the wrong order and to just be more careful next time but he argued that he gave me the right order😂

Why isn’t it normal for drivers to confirm the order number before dropping off to a house? The last time this happened I was upset because I made a huge order for breakfast for my family and only received one breakfast wrap😅 but today I just ordered one breakfast combo and they dropped off almost $30 of food… I’m not upset about that but its still frustrating not getting the food I ordered and for the other person to receive my small order

Also, when he made the first stop and dropped the other order off, he sat in front of that house for almost 20 minutes before leaving to bring me my food, I thought that was weird and was kind of expecting to receive the wrong order after that

This promo says I will save 75% with a $12 minimum order. But it shows no code, when I tap on it, nothing happens, and when I try to make an order from grocery, convenience, or fast food, it does nothing. Support was useless and asked for a screenshot of me trying to apply it, but there's no way to apply it, so how the hell am I supposed to do that?

DoorDash really wants me to burn gas and wait in a late-night drive-thru line for loose pocket change. What a generous offer at 1:30 AM!
