What are the vibes at Ruby Rodeo like on Fridays? What times are they usually the most popping/what is the general music they play like? Got a group wanting to go dancing while they’re in town.
Going to ABCT for the first time this November. I’ve never traveled for a conference before, so I wanted to get some tips from others as far as flying goes. Is it recommended to fly in the day before the conference/fly out a day after the conference is over? The dates are 12-15 now, i was thinking of flying in the 11th and leaving the 16th but unsure if I should just leave the 15th. I can’t find a schedule of events anywhere yet so I’m unsure if leaving the 15th is feasible.
What are some of your hot takes on the field? Could be on schools of thought, practices etc.,
One of mine is that I feel, because of the nature of our training, psychologists are often too skeptical in non-therapeutic situations. For example, I often see in casual conversations psychologists tend to be overly questioning or skeptical of every little detail someone is saying. I get why that is, it’s good to be curious about most things, but it can be annoying sometimes trying to have a casual conversation and being prompted and probed at every response I give.
Anyone know Chubz Spudz actual hours? Showed up at 3 when online said they were open, and no one is here at the truck but the door is open.
Hey so one of the group of porta potties is already completely fucked. Most of the toilets are overflown and some of them had blood on them from what I’m hoping was a nosebleed. Does anyone know who to report this too because it’s a biohazard at this point.

Looking for some moving company recs that don’t overcharge. Moving around July 24th, only for the big furniture (mattress, desk, 1 couch, 1 bedframe/headboard) anything else i’ll be moving myself. On a budget but still willing to pay a decent amount but have been overcharged in the past as a young, dumb, 20 year old.
I’m sure this has already been said but this is my first time watching the whole way through. But the way James treats and talks to women while everyone just sits there and takes it is insane to me. Especially Lisa’s son—James sits there and disrespects his mother in front of him and he says nothinggg. I know James is a demon and is great TV but maybe it’s the southern raised values in me i don’t know how someone hasn’t laid him out is insane to me. I feel like he got a pass for his behavior earlier on because he was treating Kristen bad, and Kristen was public enemy number one for nearly her entire time on the show. I also think it’s infuriating how many passes Lisa gives James (and other crazy men on the show) but is so quick to punish or suspend the women when they “act” up.
