MASTER PROGRAMS

Hi everyone,

I graduated with a B.S. in health science on a pre-PA track. Im two years post grad and now entering my third cycle applying to PA schools. After two unsuccessful cycles, I’m trying to be realistic and proactive.

I’m also starting to think about backup master programs or career ideas. I worked for 3 months at the Florida Department of health for surveillance, it was okay… it was mostly fully desk/cubicle work and I didn’t like it. I’m really drawn to roles that would let me travel internationally, work in global health, or be part of organizations like Doctors Without Borders, World Health Organization (WHO), or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). I’d also be open to remote work if it aligns with healthcare or public health. And also financial stability and provide room to grow upward. I’m not sure which degree or roles fit this mix, which is why I’m asking for advice.

Thank you

3rd Cycle Applying to PA School + Considering Other Master’s Programs

Hi everyone,

I graduated with a B.S. in health science on a pre-PA track. Im two years post grad and now entering my third cycle applying to PA schools. After two unsuccessful cycles, I’m trying to be realistic and proactive.

I still really want to become a PA, and that’s my long-term goal, but I’m also starting to think about backup master programs or career ideas. I definitely want to stick to healthcare/Medicine field since it’s my passion. I’m considering maybe trying for medical schools But I also want to be realistic, I’m really drawn to roles that would let me travel internationally, work in global health, or be part of organizations like Doctors Without Borders, World Health Organization (WHO), or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). I’d also be open to remote work if it aligns with healthcare or public health. And also financial stability and provide room to grow upward work up. I’m not sure which degree or roles fit this mix, which is why I’m asking for advice.

Thank you
