Yelling at toddler

Hi all, I have an issue with yelling, especially when kid doesn't listen.

An eg: I was out with the kid last weekend visiting a friend & she was running so fast and almost ran into traffic. I was pushing the buggy & couldn't run behind her. She didn't get hit but she would have. I lost it then and really hate myself for it.

I honestly don't know what to do in such instances (kid is a VERY active one who always wants to run, jump play etc) and ends up in situations like this. She's 3 so doesn't understand consequences, but it means I'm always on high alert and ends up losing it

An hour later, she fell down from a carousel even after I told her to hold on tight. She didn't and fell down crying.

Is it a phase? It's taking a HUGE toll on me that she just wouldn't listen + can end up in really bad situations like being hit by a car or hitting her head etc

My BP really shoots high whenever I need to take her out alone.

Just how do I keep her safe and alive, while also remaining calm? Is it too much to ask for?

Unpaid Praktikum

Hello is unpaid Praktikums still a thing? Is it a major red flag that a company asks you to do a month long unpaid internship and then they'll see it it's a right fit? It's a private company.

Another company has asked for a 'trail' contract for three months, but atleast they'll pay something.

I was also rejected for some jobs but they asked if I can consider volunteering with them

Is this the new norm?

Thanks so much!
