How to make favorite contacts ring even when your phone is on silent without using “Do Not Disturb” mode?
Hello,
I have a Google Pixel 10 Pro and am looking for a feature (or, if necessary, an additional app) that ensures my favorite emergency contacts can be heard loud even after the second call in a row.
I’ve already done some research and see that on Android, the main solution is the “Do Not Disturb” mode, which can be automatically activated when you go into “Sleep” mode. However, this requires me to set specific times, and since I go to sleep at different times and want to remain reachable otherwise, this isn’t a solution for me because I keep my phone on silent all the time. I’m a bit clumsy and don’t want to have to actively remember to turn my phone’s volume up before going to sleep so that I still get the call even when “Do Not Disturb” is on.
So here’s my question: is there a way for me to always receive a loud ringtone from selected contacts after the second consecutive call, without having to go through “Do Not Disturb” and then also having to remember to turn my phone to loud, and then in the morning, when I’m driving to the office, having to remember to turn it back to silent so I don’t get loud notifications in Calls?
