My son is about to start High-school and wants to start collecting One Piece Cards. He’s an amazing kid and loves the anime after spending winter and spring break binge watching it with me. For his birthday his mom and I are going to give him a budget of 1k to buy some singles or other sealed products.

He is doing his research, which I love, as well as his mom and I, to make sure he doesn’t get scammed but wanted to ask to see what some of you think are some cards or sealed products he should collect and invest in.

For some reference, his favorite characters are Law, Zoro, Luffy and Nami.

Any advice will help.
