General scholarship
Anyone figure out how to apply for the general scholarship for 2027-2028? Whenever I try to login to the app it says that my user has not been assigned.

Anybody know when the fall 2027 application opens? I was told today, but when I checked the portal it only had options for 2026. The only information I could find online said the fall 2026 date, August 3rd.
The titles a bit misleading… I’m looking at WSU for civil engineering and am a bit broke. I could for sure pay for tuition in loans, but I also know I could cut the cost of my loans going to cc for my first two years. Is the civ engineering program so specific that doing so might be a bad idea? For reference I am looking at direct admittance into the major.
Hey y’all, kinda sitting in a hard spot right now. I’m a rising senior who doesn’t have any money for college. My gpa is a bit on the lower end (3.3) and I’m not sure if I’ll have enough loans to go anywhere than an in state school. I’ve asked for advice in a few subreddits and all I’ve really been told is go to cc and work part time or get military to pay it off. As much as these options are great, they’re really not what I’m looking for. I’m a very social and fit/active person, who also happens to be a little bit of a nerd when it comes to math and physics. For this reason I’ve been looking at schools like wsu (I’m from Washington). Any other recommendations for schools?
Thanks y’all!
Edit: My parents are divorced and my highest income household makes ~110k a year (I will not be receiving much financial aid).
Edit 2: My entire senior year will be taken at cc, potentially cutting some cost.
Chance me getting into any solid school with civ engineering:
Rising Senior
3.3 uw + 1140 sat
3 AP’s so far (world, lang, and physics 1).
Most classes are, honors, adv, ap, or chs courses.
School doesn’t do class ranks at all.
All of my senior year courses will be taken at a local community college as I am entirely done with my credit req due to taking around 7 classes a semester (8 classes at peak) daily.
I hesitantly admit I did receive a D+ in my first semester of both my sophomore and junior year
Sports - coming up on 4 years of varsity wrestling + club and 2 years of fb (1 varsity).
Music - Picked up guitar and played in schools jazz band for 2 semesters. (Not sure if I can consider this an extracurricular, as it was a class. Though I did play in school concerts and such.)
Work - Currently working in swim instruction, working with young children to adults. Also working with students who have special needs/support. In this field I have trained several instructors and lifeguards to teach and work with people who have these needs.
“Field Experience” - Although a class (albeit and extra one I was receiving credit for), I spent 360+ hours, over the course of 2 years, working with several athletic trainers outside the classroom, assisting them in both sports games/tournaments and in their training rooms. (I know this may not be relevant to what I want to study, though I thought I might include it.)
(Saved the most boring part for last)
I’m a straight white male with divorced parents, highest income household sits between 100-110k. I unfortunately have zero college savings and will be relying on pretty much entirely loans if I am able to receive more than 20k😭 making most colleges no goes anyways.
P.S.
Sorry for how messy this is
