I wish I had chosen myself
I wish I hadn’t given my 100% to people who barely valued it. I wish I had answered back when people crossed limits instead of staying quiet just to keep peace. Maybe if I had stopped tolerating hurtful behavior, I wouldn’t be carrying this much pain today.
Now I realize that constantly sacrificing yourself for others does not always make things better, sometimes it only leaves you emotionally exhausted and full of regrets.
