In terms of which rapper slides best on a beat, I don’t think any rapper comes close to drizzy in terms of just sliding on a beat, literally floating on clouds, glides in it, that’s why he’s the iceman he skates through the ice literally and figuratively. Nothing was the same, drizzy is so far gone. He’s been telling us since day one. Lmfao I genuinely think he does not have a single miss.
But iceman has ruined music for me, even on old albums from other rappers I really enjoyed. I tried to go back and revisit the classics bc I feel like I’ve been listening to iceman way too much and drake also told me to go revisit the classics so I did but they just don’t hit for me anymore. I always just eventually circle back to iceman. I lowkey had to listen to death metal or rock music for me to feel something lol. Out of the 16-17 years I’ve been listening to drake, I have never been this obsessed with a drake project. Only album that comes close is take care. Just my opinion after the 1st month.
