How to get stray cats to use out door cat house I bought
Bought a small outdoor cat house a few months ago for our stray cats in the area that usually sit out by our back porch at night and/or eat the cat food we leave out for them. Since I bought it, I dont think a single cat has used it to sleep in.
Here in Australia, it's starting to get quite cold, so we feel bad for any cat stuck out in the rainy cold. I've also put extra towels down and covered the top of the cat house for extra insulation.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks to encourage stray cats to use the house to sleep in?
Here is the cat house I bought on Amazon for reference: https://www.amazon.com.au/Homegroove-Waterproof-Insulated-Removable-Collapsible/dp/B0F991HNCT/ref=rvi_d_sccl_6/357-5777321-1442610?pd_rd_w=KwiIn&content-id=amzn1.sym.27aa7904-0762-4d7d-89ab-5c11fd177d32&pf_rd_p=27aa7904-0762-4d7d-89ab-5c11fd177d32&pf_rd_r=T2ZRCQ6Q0E0KTR690CNW&pd_rd_wg=egSOA&pd_rd_r=f668128e-05f1-49bd-968c-64fd18f79023&pd_rd_i=B0F991HNCT&th=1
P.S: Also, I think one of the strays marked the house like the 1st week I got it - maybe that could be detracting from the other cats using it?
