So through a ton of heartache and pain I managed to get my steering wheel off. Original intent was to re finish some trim pieces as I have a new steering wheel cover coming in soon. Well the whole pain with taking off the wheel was of course the airbag. I knew I had the pin on the left with not too much trouble. But the one on the right, I spent at least 45 minutes bashing a screwdriver into and around it as the thing just wouldn’t budge. Now that I have it off this pin is completely stuck and somehow the mounting bracket is bent which I’m sure is what is causing it to lodge. I’ve bent it back as best I can but still can’t get it to budge. Any advice?
