Is this the first ever invasion originating from a sieged planet?
As far as i can remember there has never been an invasion that originated from a besieged demorcaticly encircled planet, which made sense because you can't escape from a planet you are surrounded and lost air/space access too.
But lore wise it would make sense for only the terminids to be able to do so, because they use spores to spread, spores wouldn't care of a SES blockade around a planet.
So did we ever see an invasion originate from a sieged Automaton/illuminate planet?
