Feeling used by a friend who now ignores me
I had a friend who slowly stopped messaging me back and honestly it hurts more than I expected. We live in different countries, so I always understood schedules and time zones are hard, but every time we planned to call she would be late, early, or just forget completely without saying anything. I told her many times that if she can’t make it, just text me because my schedule is strict and I can’t always sit around waiting.
When she visited me, I drove her around a lot because she said she couldn’t afford Uber, and I tried helping the best I could even while working. But sometimes it felt like guilt tripping whenever I couldn’t help immediately.
The part that hurts is when she needed help before, she would desperately message me on Instagram and even email me to reach me. Now she can’t even send a simple reply back. Makes me feel pretty shitty honestly.
